I’m a dad of three kids who are growing up quickly. I’ve been to university twice, became a specialist paediatric dentist, got a few fellowships and now am the proud head of a great team at iKids PDC. Why see kids? Well it just was meant to be. I can work with kids and sort of understand them. I’m a bit of a big kid myself.
What I do
My job at iKids is the doing bit. Seeing, identifying, fixing and healing. My team is the engine though, doing the organisation bits and then ensuring the kids don’t need what I do again. I guess I have the easy bit and I love it, the Team do the hard work but please don’t tell them.
What I like
Yes actually I do like my job… and boats and the music of the Beach Boys.
What I love
Water. My playtime is spent on, in or under the water. Not enough of it but that will come one day. I also love that ‘end of the day’ feeling you get, just as the sun goes down and the birds sing louder.
What I wanted to be when i grew up
I started at uni to become a marine biologist. I’m not really sure how I ended up as a kid’s dentist but I’m happy I did. Fitting that my Practice is close to the beach though.
I am a mother of two and enjoy spending my free time with my family. Being a serial renovator I am also enjoying putting the finishing touches to our current family home renovation.
After working as a Dental Therapist for many years I now enjoy the challenge of being Practice Manager at iKids.
I am a mum to two gorgeous boys and married to their dad (who’s not bad either!)
I am a florist and a nature lover. I love spending time with my family and friends, getting my hands dirty in the garden and renovating our home.
I really enjoy my time at iKids – it is such a fun and supportive place to work.
I am the proud mother of 3 gorgeous teenagers with sensational smiles! I am a country girl at heart, having grown up with the cows ‘down south’, in the Goldfields and more recently on Christmas Island.
I have a passion for travel, spending time with family and friends and working with children. In my time off I enjoy going away overseas, volunteering and discovering new things! I am grateful to be a part of the team here at iKids.
I’ve been working with iKids since 2017. I am the oldest of 4 children, so working with children feels almost natural. I love contemporary arts, fitness and live music.
During my off time, you can find me expanding my plant and manga collection or in Reid Library cramming for the next exam (I am also a uni student!).
My time in the clinic however, you’ll find me talking about anything Minecraft, Mermaids or slipping a cheeky remark to Dr Johnston!
